Flo Flory, the ‘Bead Knitter’ starts you off with bobbles by the yard. Knit a versatile beaded ribbon that will add some bling to your wardrobe or accessories. A fun, easy project to learn bead knitting!

 

 

 

Charles Voth is up next as he shares 3 different ways to make short rows to hide the gaps that form from wrapped stitches. Then practice your favourite.

Linda Swaine finishes with tips on how to take your flat knitted felts to another level with 3D qualities through the ancient Japanese craft of Shibori. This process, from simple to complex, can be combined with dyeing to introduce resistant elements into textiles.

501c3 – Artist Trading Card Round Robin (25) All Levels
Learn to create unique artist trading cards (ATC) with members of the Embroidery Association of Canada (EAC). An ATC is a miniature piece of original art (6.5cm x 9cm) given by the artist as a gift to an artistic friend or exchanged with another artist. They should not be bought or sold, but exchanged in the spirit of friendship and sharing. Two or three experienced stitchers will lead the way as you learn different embroidery stitches. Complete a set design or create your own as you stitch your miniature work of art. Plus, stiffening and finishing tips. Minimal Supply List & Kit $5
