Ruach Crafts: Send our Soldiers a Bit of Home For The Holidays

Ornaments by Ruach Crafts

This year, please join Ruach Crafts, by sending our overseas soldiers and Veterans in long term care facilities, a bit of “home” for the holidays to let them know that we appreciate their efforts and sacrifices. Ruach Crafts will be collecting home made/hand made ornaments until the Fall Creativ Festival, October 12 – 14, 2012, and distributing them to our Military. Our official launch will be at the Spring Creativ Festival, at the International Centre. See the Upcoming Events page on www.ruachcrafts.com for more details.

Need some ideas to get you started … At the Spring Creative Festival, Ruach Crafts will have a “free” make and take at their booth and another across the aisle at DoveStitch’s booth. Or, come out to their classes, featuring exclusive designs by Lauren Stephenson, of The Single Step, and Michelle Edmunds, of Great Bear Designs. As well, with every purchase, at their booth this year, Ruach Crafts will give out free ornament patterns.

As a thanks for contributing, Ruach Crafts will give everyone who donates an ornament, a coupon for $2.50 towards DoveStitch material or 10% on a multiple fabric purchase at Ruach Crafts’ booth to be used by December 31, 2012. One coupon per purchase.

We cannot bring our Military home for the holidays but we can send a little bit of home to them, just so they know that they have not been forgotten.

We have 2 make and takes, one at our booth and one at the DoveStitch booth and both will be beginner Cross Stitch patterns that can be made into ornaments, one is on aida band and the other is on DoveStitch’s Novelty Fabrics. In addition, we are sponsoring 3 ornament classes, one designed exclusively by Lauren Stephenson of The Single Step.

Other information about Ruach Crafts. We are now the Canadian Distributor of DoveStitch material. DoveStitch has the biggest range of Cross Stitch and Needlepoint fabrics… in the world… and we will be carrying the full line of aida, evenweave, linen and hardanger, including their hand dyed fabrics and patterns.

TheraGlove will be at our booth for all those crafters that have arthritis, tendoniitis, carpel tunnel syndrome, cold fingers, and “tired” hands and have enticed both Lauren Stephenson of The Single Step and Karen Dudzinzski, of Textured Treasures to spend some time at our booth. Listen for announcements or check in at the booth for updates.

All of this is happening at this spring Creativ Festival event and we’ll be back with more exciting stitching activities and products in the fall. Fall 2012 Creativ Festival, find them in booth #512
