Take a trip through Maggie’s world of inspiration and see stunning samples of quilts and textile art featuring fabulous beaded work and surface design. Get great tips to add shimmery bling to your textile art, some subtle and delicate, others bold and eye-catching. Plus, discover Maggie’s reinvention of the talking stick used in traditional First Nations’ circles. The person holding the stick is the one who gets to speak and these speak even louder as they take on a character of their own through colourful, intricate beadwork executed in circular peyote stitch.
