Brother Sewing Machines V-Series at Creativ Festival

Creativ Festival

The new V-Series is an unprecedented line of machines and one of the most highly-anticipated launches from Brother Canada’s sewing division, due to its six industry-first features. Two machines comprise the V-Series: DreamWeaverTM, a high-end quilting and sewing machine, and DreamWeaverTM XE, a combination quilting, sewing and embroidery machine, with all the features that make the V-Series unique.

“This is certainly an exciting and highly-anticipated launch,” said Dwayne Filipchuk, Director of Product Planning. “We’ve really tried to outdo ourselves by including a laser and five other industry-firsts in the new V-Series. These exclusive machines are easy to use, making them particularly attractive to our mid to advanced and new generation of users. Our dealers are very excited to introduce our new line to their customers.”

The two models are equipped with several outstanding features:

  • A new fifth-generation chassis offering an oversize 56 square inches of workspace, over 10% larger than the current Brother line and the largest workspace ever from Brother, a full 11.25 inch from needle to arm.
  • Speeds up to 1,050 stitches per minute, making the V-Series the fastest series ever from Brother.
  • The vibrant 10-inch full spectrum Runway® Lighting that is 50% brighter than any other Brother machine.
  • A range of built-in stitches and embroidery designs, including 91 Disney® and Disney/Pixar designs in the DreamWeaverTM XE.
  • The extremely bright, technologically-advanced seven-inch LCD touch screen display which displays 260,000 colours and allows operators to select features quickly and easily. In addition, DreamWeaverTM and DreamWeaverTM XE feature never-before-seen:
  • Industry-first Sew StraightTM Laser Vision Guide, a built-in laser to ensure straight, uncomplicatedsewing.
  • Industry-first MuVitTM Digital Dual Feed Foot, a digitally-controlled direct motor-driven dual feedfoot to help provide virtually perfect stitching when using difficult to sew fabrics like leather, faux

    fur and silk.

  • Industry-first V-SonicTM Pen Pal System which allows users to make critical sewing adjustments using a touch pen on the sewing bed instead of the LCD screen display, which helps eliminate the instances of users having to look away from or let go of their projects. This system allows for control of needle position, laser position, stitch width and more.
  • Industry-first optional Multi-function Foot controller which allows up to three features to be programmed, including thread cutting, single stitch reverse stitch and needle position up and down (available for additional purchase).
  • Wide extension table for supporting larger projects (standard with DreamWeaverTM, available for additional purchase with DreamWeaverTM XE).

Furthermore, the Brother DreamWeaverTM XE is also equipped with these unique features:

  • Industry-first V-SonicTM Pen Pal for Embroidery, which helps users position their embroidery designs with more precision.
