X's & Oh's New Licensed Designer, James Lorimer Keirstead
Joanne Gatenby, owner of X’s & Oh’s from Tweed Ontario, is back at Creativ Festival. Joanne specializes in cross-stitch, needlepoint and Hardanger. Her projects included excellent examples of landscape scenes as shown on the left.
Joanne has a very detailed website with categories all separated out to make your search a breeze with pictures and descriptions to quickly browse through their selections. For those who are just getting into this craft, she has a fabulous How To Section to give you tips on materials, instructions for cross stitching and as well as patterns to work on for practice.
The picture above is a new licensed design for X’s and Oh’s and created by James Lorimer Keirstead who is now one of their licensed artists. They will be busy converting four of his artwork pieces to needlework projects for customers to enjoy.
James is a very popular Canadian Artist and his works appear as originals, prints as well as on plates. You may have seen his work without realizing it.
