Felted Scarflette (25) Intermediate

Here’s your chance to create the scarflette Dawn entered in our Designer Style challenge! Explore colour and texture as you work with merino wool roving to design and wet-felt an elegant ruffled scarflette. After an overview of wool characteristics, the felting process and materials used, you’ll learn about handling and laying the wool, using a resist to create layers, the wet felting process and then blocking and shaping of the finished project. Wet felting is a very physical process using your arms and hands to roll and manipulate the felt as you create your unique design. Bring: Old towel. Kit $25
