Crochet: UpCycled Market Tote (15) Intermediate

Love crochet and the environment? Enjoy shopping at your local farmer’s market? If so, the market tote crocheted from re-purposed plastic bags gives you the opportunity to make a statement about all 3. This class is designed for those who are comfortable with stitch increases and working crochet in the round. Time will be spent learning how to cut and attach plastic bag strips to create plarn (plastic yarn). Sonya sets a good pace to get you started. Bring: 6.5mm hook, 50 plastic grocery bags or 22 L box (40 bags), scissors to cut bags, safety pin & ruler.

3 Hour Workshop.

Class registration will begin in late July 2013. Watch for updates here on our blog for when brochure details become available and registration begins. www.creativfestival.ca
