Tunisian Crochet (25) Beginner

This is a hands-on crash course in Tunisian crochet, which is worked with a hook that has an end like a crochet hook and a shaft like a knitting needle. Explore 2 methods for making the foundation row. Then learn and practice the basic stitches: the Tunisian Simple, Knit, Purl and Full, as well as the Sunshine and Flame stitches. Becca will show you how to change colour, discuss increases and decreases, and finishing edges. Bring: Single ended Tunisian crochet hook, 6.5mm (US size K) or larger – or – purchase in class for $6. Big Stitch Stash, Rebecca Smith

Big Stitch Stash: Knit or Crochet (25) All Levels

Whether knitter or crocheter… what to do with all that stash? Bring your stash (all thicknesses, fibre contents and colours) and Becca will show you how to make fabulous scarves, shawls, rugs and other home décor items. Learn how to combine different weights of yarn from lace to chunky, working with 5 to 10 strands at a time on size 19mm or 25mm hooks and needles (US35 or US50 needle) (US S or U hook). Discover which yarns play well together and how to manage working with multiple strands at the same time. In this fun class, Becca brings out the inner stashionista in you!
