Learn Modified Tail Spinning with Patricia King LeClair

It’s a Modified Tail Spin!

Patricia King LeClair began Dyeing for Colour Fiber Works out of a lifelong love of colour. Once she discovered that wool didn’t have to be just white, grey or scratchy, the game was on. Even after years of exploring different types of wools, alpaca, mohair and other exotics, Patricia believes that there are still more new adventures in fibre to explore.

Dyeing for Colour Fiber Works offers products sourced within Canada whenever possible and professional grade dyes. Felters, spinners or knitters, there’s something for everyone. Come visit us and see what inspires you. www.DyeingForColour.com

Spinning Workshop at Creativ Festival

Patricia King-LeClair teaches Modified Tailspinning at Creativ Festival

Come spin with me! See how you… yes, YOU, can make slubby tailspun art yarn your first time. Some experience with a spinning wheel is needed, but the rest we can do together. When you are finished you will have tried Mohair, Cotswold, Border Leicester, Wensleydale, even Teeswater, some dyed, some natural. Turn handfuls of curls into yarn, like you never thought you could. Note: Spinning wheels will be shared. Pre-requisite: Spinning experience

3 Hour Workshop – Sun 9:00 to 12:00
