Creativ Festival, Felt, Amy Kung Oliver

Amy Kung-Oliver teaches how to felt little critters at Creativ Festival.

Amy Kung-Oliver is owner of Nuevo Norte Alpacas farm in Colborne, ON. She is fortunate to indulge in her love for animals while also using her “forever concept generating” brain to develop ideas for using the fine fleece from her alpacas. Amy, a very tactile person, is a self-proclaimed fibre fanatic who has always loved colour and texture. At Nuevo Norte, they have been able to find ways to utilize their alpaca fibre whether the very finest or coarsest grade to produce products that range from fine yarn and fabric to industrial felting for insulation. With 72 alpacas and counting, Amy has a lot of fibre to play in… oh, and to play with. www.NuevoNorteAlpacas.ca
