Pamela Kearns’ teaches jewellery making classes at Creativ Festival. Why not give them a try!
Pamela Kearns, instructor and BeadFX’s Class and Event Coordinator, will be teaching three classes at CreativFestival. Jewellery Making 101 (523c3) is for the complete novice and will focus on helping students get started by creating earrings and a bracelet. Spring Flowers (522c3) will combine polymer flowers and glass beads to create a stunning beadwork bracelet. Wire Macramé on Flat Leather (524c2) will have student work their macramé-magic to create an exciting cuff bracelet.

Within its walls in East York, colour explodes throughout the store – much like the inside of a kaleidoscope – with an array of glass beads of all shapes, colours and sizes; Swarovski crystal beads and pendants; findings in all of the major metals; wire of various gauges and colours; and an assortment of fibres. In addition, you’ll find all of the tools needed to complete your jewellery endeavours.
Complete with a classroom, metal studio and eight-torch lampworking studio, BeadFX is your headquarters for jewellery-making knowledge and classes. For those wishing to learn how to create jewellery, BeadFX has a roster of approximately 40 knowledgeable instructors who teach everything including seedbeading and off-loom beadweaving; knotting and fibrework; metalwork and soldering; metal clay; and lampworking. An average of 30 classes are offered monthly, primarily on weekday evenings and during the day on weekends. BeadFX also hosts visiting instructors from around the world.
BeadFX is open seven days a week. All of the staff have extensive jewellery-making experience and are able to answer consumer questions. On-line orders are filled from within the store and can be shipped worldwide.
