Her sewing career spans over 45 years and her enthusiasm is rewarded in fun filled, informative classes. She also shared a life time passion for knitting and crochet while working at a national craft retailer and her love for hoop embroidery lead her to train on Machine Embroidery software. Edith Kauffeldt sewed her first top in the seventh grade and her friends couldn’t believe she made it herself. When she was asked to make one for a friend, Edith knew that sewing would be an integral part of her life. She has since stitched her way through a career of sewing bridal and prom dresses, costumes for dance companies, home decor for interior designers and teaching for Baby Lock Canada. Five years ago she set down roots and opened Sew Have Fun, a full service sewing store in Oshawa, ON.
