Let’s begin by moving up from Aida to working ‘over 2’ on linen or evenweave fabric and learn the difference between these two. Pick up tips and techniques for working with over-dyed and variegated floss and see how they differ. Make perfect French Knots and learn to attach beads correctly. Discover the trick to eyelets, how to stitch Rhodes Hearts, try Blackwork and more all while working a small custom pattern by designer Jo Gatenby. Each kit comes in a cloth bag (assorted colours), which is used in finishing the project! Receive an instruction booklet with tips and stitching diagrams for even more eyelets and stitches like Butterflies and Triangles. Kit $7.50

Cross Stitch Bag-Its – Beginner

Full-stitch, Quarter Stitch, Backstitch, fabric count, stitch size, selecting a needle, all these terms and more will all be explained. Each kit comes with its own cloth bag, providing an easy finish! Choose to work on the original Hummingbird design (shown) created just for this class, or select from 8 other Bag-It designs! A selection of bag colors and designs will be available in class. Kit $5
