Cultivate a lovely garden scene from fabric. Create the textured leaves by cutting up a variety of green fabric scraps, placing these onto sticky, water soluble stabilizer, then free motion stitch. After rinsing and drying, cut the flowers from fabrics prepared with fusible backing. More free motion stitching and they’re ready to be placed on the background fabric and prepared for framing. Join Irena Hopper to conquer the Dutch puzzle made up of half square triangles and connector blocks. Learn to make perfect half square triangles using basic piecing techniques. This 36″ square is a great scrap quilt and can be expanded to any size. Plus, see an alternative setting using the same building blocks. Pre-requisite: Machine sewing experience. Kit $20
