401c3 – Fractured Fair Isles (25) Intermediate to Advanced
As demonstrated in her book Inspired Fair Isle Knits, Fiona proves that Fair Isle patterns don’t have to be repeated all the way across a row or even be symmetrical. In this workshop, you’ll explore this idea as you work on a sampler of patterns suitable for making into a small bag. Bring: 5-7 part balls (a few yards each) of different coloured yarn in a medium weight & yarn appropriate needle, graph paper & pencil.
3 Hour Workshop – Thu 9:00 to 12:00

402c3 – Designer Details (25) All Levels
Details can elevate a simple garment, setting it apart from the run of the mill, they can add fun and interest and be a way of reworking a well-loved pattern to give it a different look. Fiona will lead a discussion on successful details and then demo some of her favourites. You will then be able to try a few of them for yourself. Bring: 4.5mm needles, crochet hook & blunt ended sewing needle.
3 Hour Workshop – Fri 9:00 to 12:00

403c3 – Fun with Entrelac & Directional Knitting (25) Intermediate
Entrelac looks complicated but isn’t really once you know the tricks. This workshop will teach you the basic method and give you a chance to begin to play with the technique, to see what different directions you can take your knitting. Bring: 2 part balls of different colour medium weight yarn & yarn appropriate needles.
3 Hour Workshop – Fri 1:00 to 4:00
