Fall 2012 Conference Class with Pat Armour

The Embroiderers’ Association of Canada is pleased to present this fabulous workshop:

Pat Armour has been an avid stitcher for most of her life embracing many techniques including crewel embroidery, goldwork, appliqué and counted work. It was the discovery of EAC and the Toronto Guild of Stitchery that opened up a vast world of new techniques, tools and stitched delights.

Crewel Thread Case (20) Beginner to Intermediate
This playful squirrel contemplating his acorn stash is printed on linen twill and stitched using the historic Bayeux stitch but updated with a fluffy tail. Pat’s design makes up into a fabric pocket, sized to hold a custom crafted wooden acorn thread keep which is part of the kit. Pre-requisite: Knowledge of surface embroidery helpful. Bring: 4″ hoop. Kit $40
