Fall 2012 Conference Class with Kim Beamish

The Embroiderers’ Association of Canada is pleased to present this fabulous workshop:

Kim Beamish has been a member of the Embroiderers’ Association of Canada since 2004 and is also a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. Kim enjoys many different forms of embroidery including counted, whitework and crewel. She has completed master craftsman in counted thread through the Embroiderers’ Guild of America and creates a variety of designs for needlework, tatting and needle felting. Kim has had designs published in A Needle Pulling Thread, Inspirations and most recently Cross Stitch and Needlework magazines.

Get festive with Kim and create this vintage looking accessory set using the Buttonhole, Cross, Back, Smyrna Cross, Kloster and Holbein stitches with silk and metal threads on linen. The 2.5″ x 2.5″ Christmas needle case and 2″ x 2″ scissor fob (which can also be used as an ornament) match last year’s Christmas biscornu. Pre-requisite: Able to follow a chart & familiar with stitching over 2 threads on linen. Kit $30
