It’s Time For You to Vote
It’s now time for “The People” to start making their selections for which Designer Style Challenge Submission is the best. Our judges were given a list of 10 factors when making this decision for each submission. Those factors included:
- Responsiveness to the Theme
- Inspiration and Creativity
- Intricacy and Complexity of the Design
- Technical Skill
- How Much Work went into the Project
- Innovative Use and Diversity of Materials (as this was a mixed media challenge)
- Craftsmanship and Quality of Construction
- Finishing
- Fit (applies only to garments)
- Overall Finished Look
Rules:
- All contestants have signed a CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT and may not reveal who they are and/or reveal which project is theirs.
- Each picture below is assigned a number under the photograph to hide the identify of the designer to keep voting balanced and fair.
- You may only vote once. Multiple voting will disqualify all votes submitted by the same person.
How To Vote:
- Review the below pictures and then leave a comment on this blog entry by giving us the number of the photograph you liked the most. Give us a reason why you selected your final selection as well.
- Comment form is at the bottom of this blog post.
- Pictures are also in no particular order and assigned a number randomly.

1674 – Belle of the Ball is gorgeous – she reminds me of Cinderella rushing down the stairs from the prince’s ball. How did the artist create the subtle and natural folds in her skirt and cape? I also like the shading of colours in the gown. So many good original works to choose from here, but Belle is a clear winner!

1726 is my favorite. She’s fun and given her typewriter parts, she tells a story in many creative ways!

Oh my, I think this is the most beautiful custume!
I can see this as a bridal coat in a remote cold venue.

1685 – I love the colours, the brilliance of the blue against the white is gorgeous. I would wear this, I would buy this. Actually I want this!!! Very creative and beautifully crafted.
