We are excited to have Pari from P.K. Cards back with us this fall. As you may know, she specializes in making handmade one-of-a-kind greeting cards.
Pari wants to share her quick story that you may not realize:
“I make hand made greeting cards for all occassions as well as bridal, baby shower and party invitations. Certain proceeds of my sales are donated to the Blind in Mumbai. I also donated to the Single Blind Institute in India. I get cases from different NGO’S and check them up. I donate according to their needs.
For example, last year there was this poor blind boy who also had a walking disorder that our cards sales help pay for his special shoes. There was also a blind girl from a poor family, card sales helped her get education so she could learn how to give facial massages so she could earn a living.
I staretd this business as an hobby and two years back I realized that my hobby could help someone and bring a smile to their face.”
