Fashion Patterns by Coni: Fitting Clothes for Real Women

Coni Crawford Designs, Creativ FestivalFirst time ever to Creativ Festival is Connie Crawford of Fashion Patterns by Coni.

As a side note and Social Media Director to Creativ Festival, I must tell you that of the 100’s of website I have visited, it is so refreshing to see a website dedicated to fashion that has sizes for real women of all sizes. I really appreciate Connie’s attention to fitting XS to 6 XL in clothing that is function able, smart and trendy.

Who is Connie?

The American Sewing Guild awarded Connie with the 2009 selection for the Sewing Hall of Fame.

Connie Amaden-Crawford

Connie Crawford is a licensed designer for The McCall Pattern Company under the Butterick label and is owner of Fashion Patterns by Coni (www.fashionpatterns.com). She is a nationally recognized lecturer, fashion specialist, educator and author of sewing and pattern textbooks, including A Guide to Fashion Sewing, The Art of Fashion Draping and Patternmaking Made Easy. Drawing on her 35 years of experience in apparel manufacturing and 23 years teaching fashion design classes in patternmaking, sewing and draping at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Connie created her own pattern line with true-to-body fit from sizes X-Small to 6X.

Connie can be found in the classes brochure as she is teaching a number of courses. Her main attention to fashion is about “Fitting the Woman” to the clothes. She is driven by it and understands the need for it.

On the show floor at Booth #1010, you will find patterns for all sizes of women. We are extremely pleased for Connie to come from the USA to partake in our festival. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to meet Connie and study design under her direction. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity.
