Quilting
Rebecca Sham was born and raised in Hong Kong and has been knitting and sewing since her early years in elementary school. She expanded her creativity into quilting in 2006 after moving to Canada and witnessing the art of quilting at the CNE one summer with her children. After mastering the technique of quilting, she began creating her visions through North American quilting using Oriental imagery. She is a member of the York Heritage Quilters Guild and Markham Guild of Village Crafts. Ms. Sham has received awards for her unique quilts in multiple competitions. Rebecca enjoys sharing her talent and creativity with others and believes that teaching is a wonderful way to keep this beautiful tradition alive.
