It’s time to explore anew this age old technique! It all started when the traditional woven arts of America’s indigenous culture fused together with beads traded by European travelers, to create bead weaving techniques still used today. Using a simple loom, learn to design original works, set up for new projects and create intricate patterns. Plus, William demos more equipment and explores more materials. Kit $15

For unknown ages, the women of Chiapas and Guerrero, Mexico have been weaving and embroidering their own cloth fusing the likeness of ancient gods with the world around. Using hand spun cotton, wool and silk, they continue the decoration of everyday garments with as much patience and care as their ancestral mothers more than a thousand years ago. See the depth and skills from one of the finest weavers in Mexico and local women’s collectives that use their talents to support and cloth their families.
