Farthingales, owned and operated by Linda Sparks, opened in January 1998. She worked as a buyer for the Stratford Festival Theatre in Stratford Ontario. She was importing costuming supplies and she realized there was a demand for providing these essential components of corset making supplies.
Linda’s success has been her education element that she has incorporated into her business. She has loaded up her website with Tips & Tricks as well as Online Classes to help customers, or anyone else interested for that matter, in creating their customized corsets.
Farthingales has an online store that is extremely detailed to narrow down exactly what you need to make your customized corsets.
Linda is also very active on her Facebook Fan Page for Farthingales Canada. She has a lot of inspiration and ideas to share.
