Michael Sellick - Crochet Expert

Michael Sellick aka Mikey from The Crochet Crowd

Michael Sellick is the energetic creator & instructor for The Crochet Crowd that is featured on YouTube.

He has created a community that is not hung up on the technical terms of crochet, but to take the “grandma idea” into a sexy and adventurous world exploring the latest new yarns. He teaches new crochet techniques for those who cannot read patterns and provides free patterns for the novice by creating simple, yet crazy trendy ideas for everyone, from the newbie beginner, to the expert lover of the crochet arts.

With up to 1.7 million video views that are watched each month, his free video library with over 1,400 videos are well used. The Crochet Crowd’s Facebook Community was created to provide ‘The Crowd’ a place to share pictures, ask questions, telltale inspiring ideas through links and much more. Together on Facebook, he has inspired thousands to connect their passion with their favourite yarn balls all thanks to the amazing World Wide Web. Who knew that crochet was going to be popular again? But with The Crochet Crowd you too can be part of the exciting art of crocheting.

Michael provides an interactive crochet and knitting experience at Creativ Festival by bringing Hooker Alley alive. It’s a playground where people interact and share their love of the fibre arts.

Michael also cooperates with several businesses in assisting with social media. You can find his patterns and videos linked with several major companies that also social network their content.

For 2012, Michael is The Social Media Director for Creativ Festival. He is one of the voices behind Creativ Festival’s Facebook and blog article writing.

Michael I have been a fan of your projects for a few years. You’re fabulous. I am looking for some help to find a pattern I saw on You tube here is the link http://youtu.be/-i3vLkJTkRg but she only shows the finished sweater not the pattern. If you could help me find this pattern i would greatly appreciate your help.

    Thank You
