Learn How to Hand Quilt with Margaret Wilson at Creativ Festival.

Learn how to finish a quilt with decorative hand-quilting using the traditional ‘rocking needle’ method. We’ll cover the basic types of hand-quilting such as straight-line, echo and feathers. Find out about fabric, thread and needle selection, design transfer, layering the fabrics and how to take care of a hand-quilted quilt. Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge of quilt construction. Bring: Thimble & small pointed scissors. Hoops on loan in class. Kit $20.
