Cheryl Roberts, owner of Fullin’ Woolens has always been creating with her hands, exploring many different facets of needlework as well as other venues. A love of colour, funk and strong tactile tendencies have brought her to the world of wool, specifically dyeing, spinning and felting. She is dazzled by the magic of taking wool and using the very essence of its nature to create a totally new material from it! It is her passion and purpose to maintain the heart of these ancient crafts, while at the same time learning new ways to push the boundaries. Her inspiration comes from everything around her; a colour scheme in nature or fashion, a shape of a certain object, a discarded item that still has some life in it and sometimes just deep from the recesses of her ever-churning mind.
